“I love this pose! It’s one of my favorite ways to warm up my legs and I often teach it to get my yogis feeling good too.

It’s so simple and has a really profound impact on your nervous system. Through tensioning and then moving the foot we tighten and slacken the Sciatic nerve. The results are awesome as it changes the way your whole leg feels by reseting some of the muscle tone

It also can give a good boost to your balance because when your body and nerves are sliding and gliding better you get more feedback to your brain which results in safer, more efficient movement.
