My story is a testament to the power of dreams and the resilience of the human spirit. My name is Cristina, and my journey began in the unassuming landscapes of communist Romania. While it may not seem like the most thrilling of beginnings, it was here that my dreams took root.

One evening, as I sat by a lake, watching the sun dip below the horizon, I was consumed by a vision. I imagined myself living beside an enchanting body of water, far removed from the confines of my homeland. Given the circumstances of my life at that time, such a dream seemed more like a fantasy.

As the years passed, life’s twists and turns led me away from Romania. By the age of 24, I had faced the heart-wrenching loss of my father, leaving me with my mother as my sole family. My journey took me across various borders, but it was the vibrant and soulful Jamaica that truly captured my heart. It was in this Caribbean paradise that my life took a transformative turn. My dear friend Emily introduced me to the world of yoga. Some things in life we simply enjoy, while others resonate with our very being, fitting us as seamlessly as a perfectly tailored dress. For me, yoga was the latter. I began my practice at 26, and it has since become an integral part of my existence.

Now, with over two decades of practice and ten years of teaching under my belt, I find solace and purpose in yoga. My travels, my yoga practice, and the myriad experiences life has thrown my way have all woven together to form the tapestry of my existence. They’ve ignited a passion within me to share my story and the stories of others. Through my upcoming blogs, I aim to share tales from various walks of life, touching on travel, photography, love, pain, joy, and well-being.

I invite you to join me on this wonderful journey. I’m currently penning a book that delves deep into personal experiences. It’s a narrative that springs from the depths of our souls, capturing the essence of pain, loss, joy, and the relentless pursuit of love.Together, let’s explore the stories that lie within each of us, the stories that are waiting to be told.
